The goal
We wanted to promote our brand presence in target markets in the Fitness vertical. Depending on the event, our goals included lead/pipeline generation, networking, executive engagement, market presence, brand presence, and through leadership promotion.
My involvement
I was responsible for the results, strategy, and budgeting for events. I lead a team that includes an events specialist, graphic designer, content manager, and outside contractors to execute the event. I managed a cross-functional group of stakeholders in sales and the management board to maximize their effectiveness.
Types of events
We participated in tradeshows, conferences, and matching events. Additionally, we held our own sales, customer events, and ABM webinars. These were done online and onsite across the AMER, EMEA, and APAC regions.
Lewis's deep understanding of our industry gained through customer stories, industry research, and event interactions across AMER, EMEA, and APAC, was a significant asset to our team's market growth strategies. I was impressed with how he developed our inbound digital channels to grow compliant market web traffic and drove demand generation supported ABM, seeing a 5x increase in Enterprise leads in three years. A consummate event operator, he directed the team that saw our flagship event leads grow by 2.5x over three years. His adaptability was evident when he jumped on a same-day flight to Dubai to replace me at an event.
